This assignment had us visit a number of different websites that give you access to a wide variety of online tools that can be used in classrooms. We were then asked to write a reflection on it and write about some specific tools we found and played with.
I really liked this assignment because it showed me that large variety of tools I will have access to as a teacher. I thought that the only way I would be able to use technology in my classroom would be through playing movies and music or showing videos online.
I will use this the most in my future classroom. I will go through more thoroughly the different teaching tools and find some really awesome ways to integrate them into my classroom. This assignment also opened my eyes to the fact that I can use certain sites online to hold online chats, which I could use for setting up a kind of online pen-pal chat room for my students with students in Germany.
